We belong to 'The Irish Girl Guides', and our national office is in Dublin. You can get more information from the Irish Girl Guides website available via the link on the left.

We meet on Mondays between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. at Scoil Mhuire Junior School in the Carpeted hall.

Mission

Our mission is to enable girls and young women to develop to their fullest potential as responsible citizens of the world.
The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts has members in 145 countries across the globe

What is a Girl Guide?

A Girl Guide is between 10½ and 15 years of age.
She can be quiet or boisterous.
She can be adventurous or studious.
She may have been a Ladybird or not.
She may have been a Brownie or not.
She might like creepy crawlies but she probably doesn't.
In other words, any girl between the ages of 10½ and 15 can be a Girl Guide.

Membership

We currently have vacancies for new members.
Membership costs €150 per year and includes insurance and membership of the Irish Girl Guides.
